I'd agree with that with one proviso - The Sooner Gun and Knife Show. It ain't the BO den and rip off joint that Tulsa has become nor it as much a flea market gun show joke like all the others. It's as close as you're gonna get to gun shows like the ones held twenty years ago. |
I just don't have any luck selling things at metcalf shows. There are only about 10 or 12 tables there and you get the usual dealer BS everytime you try to sell or trade......You know......I'll buy your shit wholesale minus 40% and you can buy my awesome product retail plus a good old fashioned dry buttfuckin'. |

Nothing personal big fella......We've never met to my knowledge....There is an old saying in my business "meet first, then judge by actions later". If your an honest dealer I would be willing to talk to you at the next show. I may have some equipment to move. |
Ark sold me a lot of little stuff. Fister, I've sold him some stuff too as well as bought from him. The only reason I put up with Fister though is he has three little gorgeous girls I really like.

Well I may be needing some currency here soon, So I am looking to sell a few assets. What I really need is a show that has a lot of buyers of the non dealer persuation(sp??). I would rather sell to average Joe than some joker that is going to tell me he can build it for 200.00 less than I want for it. Average Joe gets a good deal and Mr. Dealer doesn't get to rape Higgie. |
Well that's really the trick isn't it? If you have cash burning a hole in your pocket you are GTG, however...po-folks like me depend on the civility of the sellers to offer a fair price for our equipment BEFORE we can have cash burning a hole in our pockets. Congrats on the fs2000 if you would like me to test drive it for you I'll be glad to meet you at Lexington sometime to give it a workout.

I agree with that, but BARGAIN is a matter of perspective. If I have $1000.00 to spend and I get what I want for $800.00 then I got a bargain, but If I am counting on $700.00 trade in and only get offered $550.00 cuz he can build it or get it for wholesale for that price then I have to decide whether I want to take that beatin' or leave it for someone else. A good gun to me is coming home with what I went there looking for without feeling violated when walking to the car. |
I got my $1 off card for the show next weekend in the mail today Show and then Hooters????????? If Dan shows up again we'll have to put a bag over his head before we hit Hooters. He keeps scaring the help off

I am willing to learn from the masters. I need to sell and not buy though so you may have to restrain me. I got my dollar off coupon today. I may even bring the little woman to add some extra restraint if needs be. I suppose that will shoot Hooters in the butt for me though. Probably for the best. I will miss seeing Dan action though. |

Man if you need to sell some stuff and you hook up with us you may not even have to pay to get in. We or someone else may just help you out with that. That is if somebody is quicker than FISTer

Dude I cant even see that far anymore(without a scope anyway). Used to be able to shoot there for $7 a day. As long as there arent any classes.
