The wind is just too much to take this week. Wet as hell one week, windier that an OK HTF farting contest the next. Besides, I need to get to the range so I'll be tuned up to give Josh-L a really sound whuppin!  Anybody else able to go in the middle of the week? I'm gonna want witnesses there!

I've got quite a few things to do but I'm not going to fight this wind. I've got to move a tractor, do some work on some food plots, etc. But I don't want to tow in this wind as high as diesel is. One thing about it, the wind is drying up some of the ground, even as muddy as it is. I'm hoping it's not this windy this week end. |
More often than naught actually.
Just like Saturday when it was raining here while still sunny.  I can stand the wind, but when it's 30 MPH all day for a half a week, that gets old. I guess those folks with trees don't really have to worry about raking the leaves in the fall. Probably shouldn't be complaining. I'll take mid 70s any day in April! |
shit man, 30mph south winds woulda been nice, damned winds been blowing around 50mph for the last week in central OK, it didn't slow down till this afternoon when it got all sunshiney with a shitload of thundering/lightning and dime sized hail falling for 1/2 hour, deep enough it looked like snow covering the ground, then the wind started up again and it rained like mad, hard enough it blew past the door seals and flooded the main lobby in the casino, of course we needed the rain, it's been a bit dry this past winter .
