I know this is my second topic in a week, but i'm having trouble getting this all figured out and I'm hoping someone who has been there and done that can help me out. Where do I have to go to get the paperwork done for my permit? Also, who do I contact to get the class set up? I'm just trying to get a feel for this process because I want to spend some of my tax refund on getting mine. Thanks! |

Call the OSBI and ask them to send you a SDA package. It will contan the form and fingerprint cards. Go get your picture taken, passport taken. Where do you live? If in the OKC area HH Gunrange offers SDA classes. After that, go to the sheriffs office and get your prints done, sometimes they can do both prints and pics. |
Make sure that you have documentation to prove the qualification. You will need to provide it to your SDA instructor. He has to maintain a copy of it in his files. <------SDA instructor. |

| i did the H&H classes years ago. did the two night deal which worked good for me. when i went to renew my permit i just went to the OSBI office at HARVEY and NW 63rd to get my packet. after i filled it out i just took the packet back there and they also took my payment from my bank card. |

If it was on a weekend i could make i would be all for it...... It's just one of those things i never seem to be able to catch on the right weekend. |
