Nothing went over my head, I laughed when I read his post, allmost made a comment myself. I welcomed Gillman7 and asked him to stop by the HTF the next time he was Arfcom. I did not see anything wrong with his post. |

We can't mention that other site (he did!) here because we have been warned not too. If he didn't know that, fine. But if he did, which is highly likely, he's trolling and trying to stir things up. Making comments about the intelligence of others here doesn't seem appropriate if he doesn't have a history of joking around. And he doesn't. The level of intelligence and moral outlook here of most members is above par. They are good people. The only thing I can complain about is the spelling of one or more. They must have graduated them/him from the third grade just to get rid of them/him.

C'mon Dan, I think you are indeed being a little thin skinned. I thought it was a joke too considering the smiley he put after the end of it. I also didn't relaize there was a ban on mentioning okshooters and I don't think that was the intent of the rule if so. I'm pretty sure the intent wasn't to "not mention" but rather to not bring issues from one board to another.If I'm wrong about that then I apologize upfront. Anyway welcome gillman !!!! Hell Chuck, I don't mind buying ammo for a woman to shoot up, but the cleaning part is woman's work that ranks right up there with making sammich's and baby's.  BTW: I don't know how I missed this thread, it's always funny how someone gets singled out for stiring the pot/talking shit/finger pointing when everybody in the HT does it from time to time  ,I've even done it once or twice  .

I don't mind buyin' my ol ladys ammo. She is happier with the 22 than she is with the 308 or the 45. She doesn't shoot up much of the centerfire stuff. I don't mind the cleaning either. Hoppe's #9 is one of them smells that ranks right up there with vanilla extract! I love it! |

Mention of OSA is fine, it is the name calling and other shit that will not be tolerated. Members from OSA are welcome here, as I am sure members of Arfcom are welcome there, BUT there are house rules for each site, that will be followed. As stated before if you feel someone is trolling the HTF then send a report to me, I will look into it. Simple as that. |
1shott, respectfully, a moderator from that unmentionable website told us we were not welcome there in this very forum. Considering his statement, I would ask you to not allow mention of the other site here. That way we can be sure there will be no problems, either from them or us. |
I never said everyone wasn't welcome at okshooters.....only certain members. We certainly welcome everyone as long as they are respectful of course....just like this or any other board. I really don't have too many problems with this board as long as people refrain from personal attacks. I visit here often,just don't post much. Anyway.... "C-C-C-Can't we all just get along"

I am going to lock this thread, since I can see where it is heading, before I do, I have this to say, This matter was settled months ago after I took over the postion as mod, At that time several members were close to having accounts locked, thankfully that was avoided. Locking of a members account is that last thing I wish to see happen, BUT if anyone wishes to push me on this issue, be warned, accounts will be locked, I am done. It is time everyone acted like adults and get over it. IMO it is a damn shame when a new member gets invited over to the OK HTF and his first post, a greeting, starts to go south, how do you think that looks upon the OK HTF? Final warning issed to everyone. |
