I remember when you had her fixed a while back. I sure hate to hear that she has went on to a happier place, if that is possible. By the looks she really loved you and your wife--and vice, versa. Over the years I have became attached to lap dogs, ours are miniture wennie dogs. We lost one this summer and a couple of the others are getting up in age. Only time, and the others, will help heal. BTW, keep an eye on the other little ones becasue sometimes they will go through a hard withdrawl time. |

The black and white dog in the pics is her brother, from the same litter. The only time they've ever been apart is when he went to get fixed, and when she went in to get fixed. Otherwise, they were never more than 10 feet apart, and usually closer to 10 inches. They would walk around side by side, like airplanes in formation. Groucho's not doing so good, he's really lethargic, head hanging down, won't eat. We're going to have to keep an eye on him. He's going to take this really hard. When we let them out earlier, they kept looking all over the yard for her, and kept sniffing where my wife found her. |
| I talked to the vet...they didn't have to open her up for an autopsy. She had 5 puncture wounds on her neck. X ray revealed a broken vertebre...Our big dog was very very upset last night, and was licking Gabs and trying to get her up when my wife came home...looks like she and Gabs were playing too rough. An accident :( |
