As indicated in earlier posts, I'll be relocating to OKC in a week.  Can anyone recommend any good gun shops in the Mustang area??

Mustang gun & pawn has a good selection but not the best prices some are good but some are way high Gene Sears has the best prices on ammo if you buy in bulk they have great gun prices but they dont have much of a display you just gotta ask about the gun you want to see they are in El reno wich is about 15 min west of mustang El reno also has an outdoor shooting range that is ok

Sounds good.  Could you give me approximate directions to the range/store in El Reno?  thanks!

Be sure to let us know when you get here and maybe some of us can take you on a tour.

Alpha, who is your friend at Sears?

It's the guy at the swap meet we bought all that ammo from , Sumo!!!!!
I thought you knew that!!!!!!!

Edited to add: I shot some of the $90 a thousand Wolf Military Classic 223 today. I'm not crazy about shooting steel cases out of my ARs, but I couldn't pass up that cheap ammo.
It shot good with no malfunctions from my Colt or RRA. I guess 9 cents a round steel cases are better for plinking than paying 50 cents a round for new stuff.

Thanks for all the hospitality.......folks in OK seem to be a lot friendlier than here in Colorado!

THAT'S GREAT!!! I'D LOVE TO COME TO COME!!!  One of the worst things about moving is not knowing anyone "of like minds".........Please keep me in mind, I'll help out with whatever you guys (and girls) need.  Thanks again!

I'll sign on as soon as I get set up in OK so you can give the details of your next get together.

It may be pretty quick if ACman has an accident and doesn't come back from Tennessee.
We may have fist fights deciding how we are going to split up his stuff!!!!!
By the way, SixKiller, did anyone ask you the three questions asked of all new members to our group?
Do you believe in Bigfoot?
Do you believe in UFOs?
Do you believe there are mountain lions in Oklahoma?

It's a big joke, so don't take it seriously.
However, you do have to give the first guy that asks a thousand rounds of ammo. Can you get me 1000 rounds of 7.62 AP?

hey Dan, it's 556 ammo, not 7.62, I'll take 1k of q3131..........noob.

and bigfoot is a skin flick I made back in the late 80s,

ufo's are "ugly fucking oldsmobiles"

and there are moutain lions in ok, and you can only hunt them with an scoped in line muzzle loading rifle.

Nope.  Have not been asked the 3 questions 'til now.  Don't know exactly what thread I read (GD?), but there was some dude from OK who swears up and down the bigfoot are alive and well in OK.  Since I have never lived there, I suppose I'll take his word for it for now.  Would not mind being the first one to nail one of 'em, maybe I can get on the cover of Soldier of Fortune magazine.  UFO's?, well, I think I've seen some some, but normally this happens late on Friday nights after a few at the favorite watering hole.  I'm sure there are mountain lions in OK.  True story:  A few miles from I currently live, a park ranger set the record for staples needed to close him up after a tangle from a cougar.  He initially thought he had beat the thing off with only minor injuries, when after a half mile hike down the same cat ambushed him again.  He got lucky and a jogger with a cell phone saved his life.......danc46, no 7.62 in stock, but I'll see what I can do.......you guys are great!!

was it a minor loss of vision, or hair palms?
6/17/2007 8:50:04 PM EDT
[#13]
ya know, just after I hit the submit button, I knew this was going to happen......on second thought, maybe if he had hairy palms the cat would'nt have screwed him up so bad

Now, Now.  Sixkiller is not even here yet and he is going to be looking for the Bigfoot, or Chicken Man, looking to the sky for glowing objects, and listening for the cat as we all know you hear them before you see them.

I gots us an idea.  We take some of the "Aliens" that we thought fell from the sky or was left behind from the mothership and use them as bait to see if we can lure the Chicken Man or a Mountain Lion out.  This way we can dispell the notions all at once.  IIRC, several years ago the National Enquirer was offering a $1,000,000 reward for a Big Foot/Yete that was alive Dead or Alive.

Anyone up for a weekend get-togeather?  We could even have a swap meet there

How much is a stuffed and mounted Bigfoot worth these days?
