If you are ARNG and your quals are at Gruber, take the muzzle loader with you. Hunt there in the evenings!

hell man, just show up to qualify carrying your muzzleloader and wearing your revolutionary, civil war or frontiersman's uniform,
they'll let you have those days off.

i'm reserve, we have our quals at camp crowder by neosho, mo. so, at best i might get into the field sunday evening. good thing is that i have exclusive permission for a 40 acre place and a 60 acre place. so chances are that i'll get something anyway.
