shit man, I knew it was high but god damn, I ordered the minimun and it was $283.68, thats like a $1.90 a gallon, I can remember a couple of years back when it cost me $95 to fill up my 250 gal. tank, I think 150gal. will give me like 60%, got my thermastat set on 50deg. so hopefully I can strech it till late spring, took a shower last night and like to froze till I got in the car and got warmed up on the drive to work, guess thats fixing to be the norm for the next few months though.

Yes, it's going to get much worse in years to come. The same people who predicted gasoline would be $3 a gallon last summer are predicting $5 a gallon NEXT summer.
All of our energy costs will sky rocket in the next few years.

I am on natural gas, and signed up for the VFPO, it should save me a little money, that and I installed new storm doors last spring.

I signed up for that too.  Luckily, I'm in my new house that I built, and I put R19 in the walls (2X6 exterior) ans R 40 in the attic.  If the summertime elec. bill was any indication, the gas bills shouldn't hurt too much!

Along with mine as well....oh and I could use new windows all the way around around as well. These 28 yr old windows here aren't the best for saving on my heating and cooling costs!

well I tried an old indian trick for staying warm, I was always told this as a kid but I never tried it till this evening, what I did was, I got up brushed my teeth, shaved then took a shower, then instead of drying off and getting dressed, I went outside and stood for about 15min. might have been less or more, couldn't really tell once the nearly uncontrollable shivers set in, then I went back inside and got dressed, took bout twice as long as I had to catch my feet and hold onto them to put my socks on.
but I can say this for them old indians, they knew how to stay warm, I'm setting here my my dads living room typing and sweating my ass off and the old man setting on the couch wrapped up in a blanket, don't think I'll be doing this very often though, my balls are still somewhere north of my beltline.

Natural gas has more than tripled in price in the past 3 yrs.

Propane can still be had for the same price it was 3 yrs. ago.  This fall you could get propane from a place in Crescent for $1.53 per gallon.

I paid like $1.80 per gallon to fill up my 1,000 gal. tank in October.  It will need filling again in Feb. or March and I plan on calling the place in Crescent.

I can remember when propane was 50 to 60 cent per gallon, $2 a gallon now, not such a good deal.

I can remember when gas was $0.19 per gallon, not such a good deal now at $1.90 per gallon.  My point was that natural gas has gone up way more than propane, or even gasoline.  Just wait until electricity reflects the price of natural gas at more than $10 per Mcf next year and you will really hear people starting to scream.

That is run by Ronnie  H****n, a really good guy. I've done business there for over 25 years and I highly recommend them.
