I don't need ammo.

For entertainment, figured I'd check out the Centreville (next to Expo Center) Walmart on my lunch trip to Willards.

Line out the door a Willards at 1130.
No bbq for me I guess.

At Walmart, no ZQI 5.56.
Federal American Eagle 55 grain 120-packs @ 52 cents per round.

Stuck eating Burger King.

Fail.

DICK's at Fair Lakes is devoid of 5.56/.223 of any stripe.

Good supply of Hornady Critical Duty/Defense @ $2+ per round in popular calibers.

Not going to even waste time at Fair Lakes Walmart.

Stopped by the newer Dicks in Springfield attached to the mall.

Lots of ammo including 556 (no 22 though)

Did not check prices.

This was on Saturday so who knows it may all be gone now.

Posted this reply in the other Walmart thread : The McLean/Tysons Walmart got neck-bearded sometime before Sunday's trip to buy the kids new toys.

EDIT: they did seam to have a lot of 7.62x39mm Russian, but it seems like it's from Turkey? It was in plastic green ammo cans.

In other Walmart news: Lego is over-priced everywhere, but Barbie is comparatively a bargain. Also, the knock-off American girl doll is a downright steal.

There was a fellow neck-beard at the Expo Center store while I was there.

He was buying four boxes of AK ammo - not sure what brand - might have been ZQI (Turkish).

I was there Saturday. A guy and his son in line in front of me bought up all of the 62 grain ammo.
I ended up buying the last spam can of Tula ammo.

Walmarts have the 720 round ZQI SS109 ammo back in stock.
But guess what, the price has gone up!
It's now $457. over $.63 a round.

after all this M855 crap ALL 5.56 ammo in my local walmart is gone. some .223 stuff still in the case but not much. 2 weeks ago or so 5.56 was stacked DEEP in the case. i fucking hate hoarders.

Mine has been restocked and has 90, 120, & 150 packs of M193. Also got a bunch of ZQI SS109 and at least 4-5 various 20rd boxes of 223/556.

I was at the Walmart in Tyson's on Monday and Wednesday. They were well stocked in 223 when I was there. @ 100 or so 20rd boxes and at least 8- 90rd boxes of AE 223. They also had a few 100rd boxes of WWB 45grain 223.

I neckbearded some AE XM193 while I was in Florida last week. Rural King in Pasco County had 90 round boxes for $30.98 so I bought 3 and brought them back to the CommonWealth.
