Anyone going to Roanoke on the 10th?

No one? VCDL email specified 'modified IDPA' rules. Having never shot IDPA, I haven't a clue if my carry gear is GTG. Would hate to drive to Roanoke and find that I've got the wrong stuff.

It's always a good time at the Roanoke shoots. But alas, I won't be able to make it.

Had a conversation with my area's VCDL contact, I should be good with my lowly Fobus or Alien Gear.

Yeah, they just don't allow for high speed holsters. Fobus, Blackhawk, etc. are fine.

I shoot IDPA there throughout the year. Too bad I start days on Saturday.

Modified IDPA rules typically means they are more lenient. I see a lot of folks with compensated pistols and illegal holsters, but it's all for fun.

It is one of my favorite IDPA venues. Well, I guess it has become my favorite since Lynchburg closed its chapter.

I haven't shot al all this year though.

Fun day other than the rain. Eye opening experience for my wife and I. Thankful for our SO's who were very helpful.
