He is actually quite good at giving info on the probability of a storm days ahead of any local wx guy you will see on TV. That said, he is no better at correctly predicting the amount of snow any area will get over any other weatherman. Compound that with the fact that the guy has the personality of a salad fork and you have a total asshat.

Anyways yeah he's definitely on the ball further out but you can basically take his snow totals and cut them in half and then you get the real amounts.

Soooo just spent most of my day at the office making sure all the trucks are loaded and the equipment is where it needs to be. Looks like we could get anywhere from nothing to 5". Seems as though every weather service is saying something completely different from the next.

I was hoping to make it from Arlington to Roanoke tonight, but 66 and 81 got shittier by the second. Between my not-good-in-snow pickup and post-Afghanistan driving skills that are both rusty and jittery, it is just not happening.

The Woodstock Hampton Inn is much nicer than a ditch, so money well spent.
