I guess I haven't conducted a FFL out of state transfer in a while.  I know, I'm slacking..  I went to Quantico Tactical at Woodbridge to request a individual transfer to them.  No go.  They no longer accept FFL transfer from individual.  FFL to FFL only.

Anyone know when this went into effect?

Anyhow, I'm looking for a FFL dealter that will take transfer from individual in NOVA.  Is Nova Armament and I believe Gilberts the only one in the area now?

Thx,

I've done a lot of transfers @ NOVA Armament, both FFL and personal.  A little pricey for one item, but otherwise good to go.

I have a guy in north Stafford county that I use.  He accepts from individuals.  Charges about $22.00 total for the transfer.   Really good guy.  I can provide his contact info if you email me.

Thanks guys for the info.

I decided to go with AST.  By the time I factor driving further, gas money and factor in the convenience of anytime pick up for the firearm at a gunshop.  appears AST in woodbridge came out slightly ahead.

I guess it will be a matter of time when all shops in NOVA will only accept transfers from FFL to FFL(first it was VA Arms, then QT) otherwise will charge you for it.
