My wife pointed out to me that a rest stop on I81 is now "sponsored" by GIECO.

Are there any others ?

The state sold naming rights to Gieco for all the rest stops.

Do they have a little green lizard to greet you too?

Lets see...some of the same people complaining about how much they pay in taxes are the same people that complained about the rest stops being closed down. Now these same people are complaining because Geico is paying to put signs up so the state can reopen them without having to spend more tax money on rest stops that may or may not be needed.

Its like the car tax. Everybody wants to bitch about it but who wants to pay higher gas tax or have more toll roads?

At least this governor figured out a way to pay for the TP at the rest stops. Timmy was a complete idiot.

Last time I stopped at one, I think I saw the Geico cave man in the Men's Room.

I agree, if the little lizard wants to take some of the burden off the taxpayer im all for it!!

The big fuss around here is tolls on the tunnels, if they want to have some big corp. sponsor them then have at it! The tolls are coming one day, like it or not, I dont mind having the tourists and non-resident (not paying VA state taxes) military helping to pay for the upkeep and maintenance of the roads they use.
