Well I have to start by saying number two is the right one!!!
My wife gave me a gift card to CSA for our first aniversery!!! Again number two was the right choice in wives!!!! Anyway I took the time yesterday to go and try it out. Now I have not had much time for myself in two years between Boy Scout, Cub Scouts, baseball, lacross, soccer, gymnastics and oh yea three kids worth of homework, to go to a range and practice. Over all I HAD A BLAST!!! Great range and ran into an old coworker............ Nice to know I can still put rounds on target!!!! Only thing about the trip was the guy to my left.... Now I know we all want to impress the better half in our lives, but I would think it would be more important to show that you can keep a nice group instead of shooting a pistol at 15 yards and make the target look like a shotgun blast at 50 yards!!! I thought he had a G18 at one point not a G17!!!! Come on lets get them on the paper and please maybe a little grouping?????? |

I love that place. Was down there earlier again this week with the wife (no, that wasn't me to your left). We're both members now.
I forgot to come in on my birthday for my free full auto rental, but they said I can come back for it no problems, so maybe next week I'll sneak in to dump a box of ammo through one of their rifles. ;) |

I've been there several times since they opened and I've noticed that there seems to be a lot of new shooters there every time. I also noticed a lot of new female shooters there, especially middle aged women. Pleasant surprise to see so many new people getting into gun ownership and shooting.
The last time I was there two ladies were sharing a booth and shooting a brand new S&W .22 cal. revolver. Neither lady knew how to load the cylinder and the RSO wasn't much help so I showed them how to load and shoot it. They seemed to appreciate the help and I stayed with them until they could get their shots on the paper. Maybe CSA should offer some free lessons to first timers. |
