If you haven't been to F3 tactical in Chantilly yet I can recommend the trip. They have a good selection of tactical clothing, gear and AR uppers and weapon accessories.
Better than that they have/make time to talk to customers and you leave feeling like you've just visited friends and not just been to a store! |

Do they allow carry(laoded or unloaded) in the store or do you have to leave it in the car? Why would they care? But good question, are they OPEN or Concealed carry friendly, (since there is no way in hell I'd ever step foot out my door without one in the chamber.) |

A guy was looking for a holster for his gun. While drawing it to test fit a new holster, the gun discharged and struck the floor right in front of the display case. Since then, they have had a rule that all guns on the showroom floor have to be unloaded. ETA: I also remember Combat Solutions in Fredricksburg had a sign on the front door saying you had to unload any weapons coming into the shop. Some shop owners do not want to deal with the liability of some idiot discharging in there shop. |

No one has ever asked or said anything about that policy, nor have I ever seen it posted. Wouldn't a better sign be "Please keep all loaded firearms holstered" ? Anyhow, back on track of this thread. I'll stop by and check out this new shop sometime this weekend. |

This was about 4 years ago so, maybe they changd the policy since then. I'll be at F3 on Sat afternoon, maybe i'll see you there. |

I went to the show today, it is not as good as it was when I went last year.
I decided to go to F3 afterward and it was great. I spoke to Jimmy for a while and the shop had a very laid back atmosphere. I told Jimmy and the other lady that was there, I did not get her name, that I was happy to see the sign out front that stated as long as your gun stayed in its holster you could carry in the store. Jimmy told me that if something went down and he needed help, I could clear leather*L* They seem to be very CS orientated. I did not get to look around much, but from what I saw they had top of the line gear. I'll go back the next time in am in the area. |

Jimmy and the crew are great folks! he gives discounts to ARCOM members and also to Mid Atlantic Shooting
If your on FB check out the Mid Atlantic Shooting group they work closely with F3 and plan on having a BBQ at the store on July 8th http://www.facebook.com/groups/VAMDDCSandF/ |
| I've been several times and always felt good about spending money there. I'm a little disappointed they don't have an FFL. They seem to be pretty good people who will take a few minutes to tell you about what they have and see if it fits your needs instead of jamming it down your throat regardless. The prices seem to be a little high but I'm used to internet prices which is obviously a whole different ball of wax. I always manage to buy something while I'm there. |

I was in the area and stopped by, loved the shop and the inventory that they had on hand. Really customer oriented staff and that goes a long way for a business. I will definitely will be spending some of money there (as much as my wife allows). Can't say enough about the customer service, thanks for making me feel comfortable on my first visit it really goes a long way!!! Thanks Jimmy from the guy with the BCM Build!!! |

I FINALLY made it in to F3 Tactical today. Nice place! Really nice group of guys working there too. Great selection of product, and pretty decent prices. I picked up an ambi sling plate for my AR. Gonna get back there and pick up some 5.11 shorts for those hot competition days.
