With the high temps last week and this weekend, suddenly there are hundreds, if not thousands of stinkbugs crawling around all the windows of my house.  They have been squeezing in around the a/c units on the west and south sides of the house and are all over the ceilings and walls.  I've sealed the a/c window frames with foam and put some new foam stripping in the window frames, but the suckers are everywhere.  Slowly catching and killing the damn things but hardly making a dent in the population.  Any effective folk cures or home remedies ?

I have been told that they make beetle traps for these things that do a good job of collecting them. You put them in your hard, and it will have hundreds of them within a week or so. Dispose and replace. I haven't had too bad of a problem with them yet this year.

Strange little critters - saw a few in the spring, then they disappeared until like this past week, then they reappeared with a vengeance, and are all over the porch.

I swear, I need to get an airsoft pistol just to sit out on the porch & plink the little buggers.

He-he, I can't smell them either, so I can squish them all day long, and other then cleaning up the corpses, it's no biggie!

They didn't disappear over the summer, they were out decimating the orchard and berry crops.  Now that it's turning cooler at night they're trying to find places (like in side your house) to stay warm for the winter, which is why everyone thinks that they're suddenly back.

The weather is starting to cool off, bugs like warm places.

When we had our AC replaced two years ago one of the air handlers was in the attic.  The tech took a shop-vac up with him and removed about five loads of dead stink bugs.

Order up som Onslaught.  It works..  if you are devilish like me, spray your windows and then watch the stinkbugs walk in it.  It must be like acid on their feet.  They immediately stop and start rubbing their feet to get it off.

Keeps me warm at night.

A friend of mine is an electrician. He told me he recently went into someone's attic and the whole floor was moving.

Too bad it's getting cold - there's a funnel-spider camped out in the holly bush near our front-door.
He's gonna get fat from all the stink bugs I keep flicking into his web!

Lil bastards are all over the car lot out here in chantilly and every now and again I find one walking accross the counter.

I just simply pickem up and place them on the cashiers counter and walk off and wait for a scream
