This is only one model (but the same one that nailed Irene about a week in advance). Scary looking picture for 9/8. Let's hope the cold front Dave Tolleris is talking about connects and pushes this one out to sea or we're looking at a fun weekend.

Every single model right now has it hooking out to sea well before it gets to the U.S. mainland. Some of them have it going over Bermuda, others bring it closer than that.
Of course, those models are notoriously unreliable this far out. So it certainly warrants attention right now. |
