Last year someone had suggested a website for the snow falls that was more accurate than any of the other sources that I looked at. I did a search and could only find http://www.easternuswx.com. Is that the website? I can't tell because it only brings up a blank screen.

Its too bad none of those sites predicted the 2" of snow this morning that paralyzed the Richmond area this morning... Where the fuck did that come from ?

wxrisk is the place to be for real big time weather forecasts.  That guy's not a network showboat driving toilet paper sales....His primary business is selling his forecasting to companies who rely upon accurate predictions to plan around longer term big events.  He was nailing all the big snow storms last year at least a week in advance.  You can't get that from any other source.

The snow today was not a weather event.  The roads were entirely passable, you just have to deal with the ordinary Richmond idiot drivers.   I-64 at least was no more paralyzed than when the sun's out in the morning.

Last year I totally relied on wxrisk to plan for staffing.  That guy was almost 100% spot on.  Pay attention to him.
