I have a pic of an item from Afghanistan I'd like to know what the nameplate on it says.

I don't have an online pic hosting service, and can email a pic if anyone can help out.

Thanks!

I can read it out loud, but can't translate much .  Don't remember too much from class anymore .

Same here - I took one semester of Russian my freshman year and did progressively worse as the semester went on (my grades on the tests actually went A, then B, then C, and ended up with a B average )

I could take a crack at it though, but I can't promise anything.

Awesome - thanks!

Now can anyone tell me what it says?  It's a military training devide of some kind, for range estimation or proper use of sights or something like that.

Sorry for the crude translation, I just typed out the Cyrillic letters into a translator but it's a start I guess.

They "K backwards R" would be pronounced like "kyah", but Index is right.
