My wife isn't from this great land and just mentioned to me that she would like to go to a drive-in where the waitresses serve you on roller skates.

Are there any in the NoVA, MD, DC area? I'm willing to drive a bit to give her the experience.

Not nearby unless you make a day trip out of it, but Doumar's in Norfolk is what I'd recommend. They are on foot not on skates but the place is the real deal.

There are two Sonics in Winchester, <1 hr drive, and one in Williamsburg VA, ~2.5 hr drive.
