Anyone know of any ranges that permit moving while shooting on the range? If so where? Are there any ranges / companies that put on regular carbine classes other than CCJA?

Officially? No, nobody allows that on ranges except for some sanctioned matches. Some ranges will frown on it less than others, but to cover their own butts it's generally not allowed, so if you trip and hurt something/someone, you can't sue.
As far as classes go, CCJA is where it's at up north. ITI and some other outfits run a fairly regular schedule near VA Beach. I heard that there used to be classes at Silver Eagle too, but you'd need to be okay with the founders having given tens of thousands of dollars to the Clinton campaign to go there. |
