So, anyone else here had a stop-n-talk by a G-Man recently? Seems like something is up and ATF isn't part of the rodeo...........

FBI does NOT have jurisdiction unless it was more to it than a firearm. BATFE is the only ones you HAVE to allow entrance to inspect unless something has changed. if its a suspected firearms violation BATFE always has an officer there. i think someone is blowing smoke up where the sun dont shine.

Good Bro of mine away on business trip and had the FBI come by and speak to his wife from what I understand. I don't have all the info yet, but seems to be a heads-up about making a personal sale to less then honorable recipient (he does not conduct firearms sales). I totally agree with the message, but why is the FBI coming to VERY RURAL Virginia to make a personal visit?  I want to know if this is a recent move to prove guilt-by-association for law abiding class III owners before contacting Congressman Bob Goodlatte.

PS The person I'm speaking about has impeccable credentials and is tied to a corporation associated with global logistics. No better then anyone else here and doesn't pretend to be so...............

if it was about firearms there could have(should have) been a BATFE agent with them. this is the first i have heard anything about this. what part of the state? i have a couple friends that work for the FBI i could probably get a little more info about what the story is.

South Western part of the Commonwealth. I have Bro's in all facets of "Club Fed" too that started out with me on the streets, but I wanted to know if this was wide spread before I started grooving, True, there should have been BATFE along for the ride, but I've been in this business long enough to know that the rules WILL be stretched to the limits until supervisors are reeled in................

I hold an FFL/SOT.  We get regular compliance inspections, but they're done by ATF not FBI.

Why is class III even relevant?  While you can do an instrastate Form 4 between two individuals, ATF would have to sign off on it.

Now if your buddy purchased a Title I gun from an FFL, sold it privately, and that purchaser (or subsequent transferee) ended up using the gun in a crime, then yes, your buddy will get a visit since he's the last owner of record.  Whether he owns Title II firearms or not isn't relevant.

1. No.

2. I don't believe these stories.

3. In the highly unlikely event that one of them came knocking on my door, I wouldn't even answer it. No reason to.

So in other words, the FBI wanted to ask him about something they were investigating (that being their job and all) because they thought he might have useful information, and all of this may or may not have had anything to do with guns at all.

Ok. I can put my tinfoil hat back now.

I appreciate the WWW ass-kicking I received from all the folks here............ My intent was to garnish usual information from folks that share similar interests, but it seems that ignorant bravado is the game plan amongst the HIGH-POSTERS. Maybe we could have had a civilized discussion about trends that concern all of us vs HIGH-POSTER bravado in the future to protect our collective rights. The incident DID-CONCER legit firearms ownership  in a secondary format and I simply wanted to get ahead of the curve for the community as a collective whole and not myself. So, for all those that felt it necessary to attack me vs legitimately/privately questioning me in a effort come to your own intelligent conclusion I apologize for wasting your time.

As far as which agency handles what, I did fed grand jury duty for a year in the western district of Va 2 years ago. We had and agent that was always there testifying . He was BATFE but also assisted DEA and FBI. He would handle cases involving not only weapons and explosives, but drugs also. I figured that since we didnt have a big metropolitan area that the feds would help each other out and share the responsibility.

I do when I converse with folks because I am not constrained by "your, et al" cultural norms and converse in a manor that I prefer. IE, it's my life and I'm not beholden to anyones standards other then my own. If grammar is your standard for judging others then you might need to broaden your horizons. You [u][are possibly/u] downgrading humanoids that are more articulate then your assumptions? Yah, I am being a SMART-ASS, but I am reinforcing the adage of Not-Judging-A-Book-By-It's-Cover". Can you conceptualize that I am a patriot that loves his freedom and posses firearms?  We do not follow the same course, but the same result is what concerns us all. So, instead of attacking my verbiage understand that I support your rights %110 even though I might prematurely think you are an asshole, Hell, let's buy each-other a beer and work toward preserving each others rights vs this shallow cock-fight on the WWW/retard network, interested?

Predictable! Maybe we as honest. law-abiding citizens across this great land should further the cause of "Constitutional Rights" in lieu of attacking each other?

PS You are more then welcome to visit and enjoy fellowship at my home for a common interest if you can debate our differences in a adult manor.  I prefer counter views as it allows me to expand  my views and learn from life experiences beyond my own. What say you?

Wow, not providing names, addresses, phone numbers on an open forum or not PMing 'em to someone spouting conspiracy theories across the internet makes someone a pussy, eh? Maybe you should ask 'em to supply their social security, debit card, and pin numbers too. In the interim, please complete the attached form so we can all give your complaint the attention it deserves:
