Does anyone know of a good welder as close as possible to Fairfax to weld part of an exercise machine?
If more detail is needed: I've hade one of these for about nine years. About every 2 or 3 years, the pins on one or the other end of the "Press Arm" breaks so that the right or left "Press Arm Handle" breaks off. The main reason is the the design allows for the handles to pivot, which creates the weakest part of the system. I don't use the pivot feature anyway. So, (after a couple of days, when the new "Press Arm" arrives under warranty), I would like to attach the two Press Arm Handles to the Press Arm and then pay someone to weld them together so that they never break again. If anyone knows a good welding shop in my area that would be good for that task, I appreciate any recommendation. Thanks. |
| Not sure how close to Fairfax, but there is a shop in Herndon, Clay's Welding. Outstanding work. We used to use them for welding Stainless steel on aircraft parts, and I had them do some work on a motorcycle. If I had any welding work to do, I wouldn't hesitate to take it to them. You can google them for a map and info. |
