I moved to GA from VA and am still, technically, a VA resident as I pay VA taxes and my LES shows VA as my home of record. I have a VA CCW with my old address. However, I have a GA DL with a VA CCW permit. Am I even valid in either state? I do not have a physical residence in VA any longer. However, I do have family that I could use for the address change if necessary. When I moved to GA I called the court clerk who issued my permit and explained everything and she said I was "fine". I'm a little sketchy on carrying when I'm home in VA or even when I'm in GA or when I drive down to Jacksonville,FL for the day. Thanks |
