Now that we see who voted for the Obamacare Bill are we going to do everything we can to get rid of the VA Congressional Delegation that voted for that debacle?
Seems that Connolly, Perriello, Moran and Scott all voted for it. Does anyone have any idea who might be running against these douches in the elections next year? |

Im going to do every thing I can to make sure Perriello doesnt get elected again to any seat . Before I just would not vote for him but now Im going to start campaigning against him . Here in Charlottesville there are some Periellos that are pediatricians at my daughters doctor's office. Is this the same family? Is he in a family of doctors? Makes sense. |

Have many times . Wanted to talk to him at the town hall here in august but ended up working. |

I can assure you that Bobby Scott doesn't give a rat's ass what the people from his district think. The guy runs unopposed most times. There hasn't been an entitlement program created that he hasn't gleefully supported. I hate the fact that Scott is my representative! |

Not sure. Here is a map of the district. Notice that the three most populated areas don't even touch the rest of the district? Don't suppose there was any intentional manipulation there, do you? http://i703.photobucket.com/albums/ww36/ktyhawk/VA03_110.gif nah, purely coincidental district mapping... Any idea what the population ratio is between the total of the 3 "gimme" areas vs. the large contiguous area? ETA: Found this via Wiki: The district's current configuration dates to 1993, when the Justice Department ordered Virginia to create a majority-minority district. At that time, portions of the old 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th districts were combined to create a new 3rd District. Some minor changes were made as a result of a 1997 federal court decision that the old 3rd was an unconstitutional racial gerrymander, but its boundaries have been largely unchanged since 1993. Seems like this is "supposed" to be a minority represented district, period. Well, let's find a conservative minority to run against Scott. |

I think that we all need to serriously vote against anyone who is in office now, now matter what party. Get the fucking place cleaned out, those who get elected will know they had better do it right and do it smart or be domed to be on termers! Lets work for a paper coup on evey election day!

Lets face it folks. Most of us on this board are plain speaking, no nonsense types. I could just see a couple of us in a debate. My rebuttle to my opponents statements: "Sir, thats bullshit." And there goes Tipsovr's political career. Kind of like a "macaca" moment for George Allen. |

Quoted: Quoted: Well, this certainly would be entertaining. I've never seen a debate where every other word was "fuck". If I knew how to get the backing I would run against Moran.... ![]() Seriously, like many others, I'm ready to do more than donate and vote. LOL... My pops is a retired Navy 3 star so I know that I can get some serious people involved but they are not the people to 'start with'. Im a vet with no real skeletons in my closet and I know how to play the Washington game... I just need to know how to kick start something like this. |

I'm 98% positive Perriello is from Charlottesville, at one of his town hall meetings he refered to growing up there in Thomas Jeffersons shadow. (As if that were a bad thing) He obviously never learned anything from Jeffersons legacy. Perriello is such a douche!
I'll run against him, but I'd need some peeps to help run the campaign, people that believe in true conservatism. Limited government, 10th amendment sovereignty, lower taxes, self-reliance and personal responsibility. I'm not sure how popular it would be but I'd have to tell people, "If you want a handout or special program funded by the federal government, I'm not your candidate. If you want freedom, liberty and the chance to determine your own future and ensure a free country for your children and grandchildren, I'm your man!" Damn that felt good to get that out. |

Tom's father was a local doctor that everyone in Cville knew. A friend played lacrosse with his brother-they're fairly well known to locals. The congressman is a local guy,and seems to be a nice fellow, but he votes the wrong way pretty consistently, and I will campaign for those running against him. I was able to talk with him at the town hall in my county, but I could tell then which way he would vote on this issue.
