Hey, for you guys that shoot the RRRC matches, are they open to everyone or do you have to be a member?
I saw that they have a match every month, but haven't made the the time to stop in and ask around.
I've been wanting get into to shooting defensive pistol but, don"t want to spend 300 a year when i can shoot in my back yard.

To anyone that is interested....RRRC matches are the second Saturday of each month, they are open to the public. Registration starts about 0900 and there is always a new shooter meeting before the match.
The match usually starts at 1000. Usually runs 7 or 8 stages and about 100 or 150 rounds will suffice.
We do stress safety above all else.

Come on out and shoot with us, maybe you'll decide to join some day.

What about coming just to watch? I've never shot in any kind of match before and never really seen one except on tv and would like to check one out in person.

You can come out and watch it's free. Never know you may become interested in shooting the next match.

No, we're talking about the Roanoke Rifle and Revolver Club just south of Roanoke on Truman Hill Rd. off of Rt. 116 at the base of Windy gap Mtn.
