Does LT Whorton still do the NFA sign off or is it someone else?  I thought I read somewhere that she was reassigned and there's a new person in her old slot.  I plan on dropping off a packet today and wanted to get the name correct on my cover letter.

Address it to Lt. Whorton.  She still signs it.

Lt. Whorton's Deputy, Dick Reines? screens your application for completeness.

I've heard the process takes one month now, unless Lt Whorton is familiar with you and remembers your past application.

The last time I did this, my application went in on Monday and I received it in the mail by Friday.  I guess she knows my ugly face by now.

Somebody had a .pdf from FPD on what the packet should contain.

I posted a similar question about a month ago.  I dropped off my paperwork on November 18th and got it back on January 9th after several calls and stopping by their office.

Hopefully they are a little faster for you.
