I just wanted to say hey to all of ya'll out there. I bought my first AR (stock bushmaster) about a week or so ago and found this site the other day. Man is there a lot of info out there about these rifles...wish I would have found it earlier. Now I need 1 or 2 more ARs... A little about me...I was raised in Yorktown and went school near Richmond and have been in the area ever since working for a tobacco company. Besides what little hunting I get to do with all the travel and honey-do-lists I haven't been shooting much but I hope that will change soon. Just wanted to introduce myself and look forward to meeting some of you in the future. |

Welcome to forum. I've been out to the WMA out in Charles City. I usually head out there about once a month. It's not a bad drive from Richmond and it's a pretty nice range. Plus it's free. I think it takes me about an hour from the Midlothian area. Amelia sucks IMO, no pistol ranges and the rifle range has about 5 benches and you are shooting through a concrete circle. Charles City isn't bad, takes around an hour 15 mins to get there, but don't go around now if you don't want to wait 30 minutes for a range to shoot at. |

Ah, but it's worth it.
It's already started...I have wanted an AR ever since I was a kid. Bought it, figured I had filled that square. Nope...square is getting bigger. Just received 10 mags in the mail and have been looking for the best place to buy 1k or two. Found myself looking for a varmint version just a little while ago. I may need to seek medical attention... |
