Noticed these on CMMG the other day. Are FNC magazines completely compatible with the AR-15 system? Are they steel mags? What finish do they have?

Not sure, but I use normal ar15/m16 mags in my FNC.

They are steel and not parkerize, more of a blue finish.

talked to a friend who used to have a FNC, he says the mags he had were steel, with a painted/epoxy style finish (similar to the HK in appearance) that matched the finish on the FNC
he couldn't remember what markings if any were on them
