when I go to hand over my paperwork for a CC permit, do you have to list what gun/guns you'll be carrying? or can you carry whatever pistol you want to? ![]() thank you for the info in advance |
Montgomery. They said that they have 45 days, but most have been coming back in 3 weeks or so. I'm hoping. Woo Hoo I guess the next reasonable step would be the SBR after the CC is aquired. MMMMMUUUUUUUHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=4&t=248424&page=1 this thread got me wondering. what happens if I happen to move within the state. Do I need to get a new permit with the new address like renewing the address on my DL? |
No you do not. You just can't use the CCH as a second form of ID to purchase a firearm. |
excellent. the voter ID card works everytime . thanks yet again for the help. |
Remember that if you buy more than 1 HANDGUN from the same dealer in a 5 day period, they have to send in a multiple purchase form to the ATF Tracing Center. But on day 6, you are GTG. ALWAYS have your permit in your wallet, because if you go to buy more than 1 handgun a month, and don't have your permit with you, you will be denied the sdale until you can bring in your permit. |
| i use my ccw for a second form of id to purchase guns. it is a second form of id that is issued by the state and it has my address on it. so yes it can be used as your second form if id when purchasing a firearm. not many people say anything about a knife, so i dont think you would have a problem. |
His question was if he had to change his address on his CCH if he moved. He does not. However, if the address on the primary ID (usually the D/L) and the CCH don't match, he cannot use it as a second form of ID. He can still use it for multipurchase of handguns. |
"Socialist sewer" is putting it nicely. Its inhabited by 40% of El Salvador (probably almost all illegals), soccer moms, and whacko Communists. |
Actually, if he keeps his paperwork that says he can pick up his CCH, he can get a replacement for his 'lost' CCH permit for $10, instead of paying the renewal fee.... |
