Quantico...
Every blue moon they let you shoot on range 4.   Almost 2 years ago I shot my 50 on range 4 at 600 yards and then everyone moved back to 1000 yards.   I let my membership go since I never shot there anyway.  No fun toys allowed.

Here is 600 yards away...

I guess I got lucky then.  I was just driving by the 1000-yard range at Quantico recently, and there happened to be some benchrest folks shooting at 1000 yards.  I pulled over, asked if I could join them, and they let me shoot my tactical rifle at 1000 yards with them.  They even had some people pulling and marking targets, for tips.
