| Seems putting top rail on a Beretta Storm involves drilling. NOT the job for me. Any takers? Name your price. |
|
It's easy. Just use the right size drillbit (it will be the same size as the hole in the rail), and drill straight down. Use the rail as a guide (the rear drill point can actually be seen on the top of the reciever). Or you can bring it by Blue Ridge and I'll do it for $10. |

Loathe to get in the way of anyone's business dealings, I'd be happy to help you install the top rail on your CX4 Storm. My tools/Loctite/experience, your and my efforts ... and five minutes of time ... bam, it'll look factory-installed. (A famous Landsman once told a parable about the giving of fish, vice the teaching of fishing, hence the allocation of effort.) For others, don't use a drill if you have a Dremel tool. My battery-operated Dremel (at low speed) and a straight burr were jsut the ticket. The cost?? Puhleez, it'd be a pleasure. I'm in Arlington if you want to try to get together. Alternatively, I am going to try to get to the NRA range late afternoon today (in part, to adjust the DocterSight on my CX4/.45 cal) if you want to try to meet there. Let me know. |

I will be at NRA range today as well, dunno when. I'm metting hoplofile there and he doesn't know when he's going. I am cleainng my apartment today with guns in bag waiting on that call. (PS bringing an SAR2 I just got and the storm anyway, so i guess that works out!) I must be OUT of rtange by 5 at the latest cause of the Sabbath. |
