snow? Well, who was it? Fess up. I know one of you ordered a white Christmas. Well, it looks like your order was a day late and ruined my plans. |
My grandparents are from west point but they are up here in New Market with us for the holidays. No snow here either |
Dumbassed soccer moms and GD city slickers who think 4WD means they can drive like assholes and be okay. They usually find out just how wrong they are when their $40,000 SUV is spining on its roof in the HOV lane. Granted some people just get caught in the wrong situation and end up in a wreck. |
Oh, c'mon, these are some of my favorite people. I get both entertainment at seeing the new, novel ways of wrecks that they can get into, then practice at chopping that $40K toy to pieces w/ my extrication tools, to get them out. (Not laughing at them being hurt, but the dumbass factor is amusing... )

True it's usually funny, like watching a guy single handedly take out a small tree in the median, but those same people could just as easily crash into ME! This morning I was taking my kids to day care, following some mini van ~20 mph down Little Creek Rd with intermittent snow/ice patches. I see a Navigator come hauling ass upo on my rear bumper, all I could think was "he can't stop if he wanted to". Luckily we were on a dry spot and he went around us w/o hitting anyone. |
I had the same thing happen this morning eastbound on WLC but it was some moron in a red pickup who decided he was in too much of a hurry to even wait for me to move to the right hand lane. He hit a patch of ice and slush and I thought for sure he was gonna take us both out, probably send me into oncoming traffic with my luck. When he regained control he apparently regained some of his inteligence and slowed down. |
