My buddy gave me 5 mags that he had after he came back from deployment. Date ranges are from 03 - 07. the ones from the awb period are marked for LEO and MIL use only. Is it cool to have these? Stupid question but I never owned usgi mags before. I want to make sure I can actually have these. Thanks for putting up with my lack of knowledge on  this topic.

Different townships have different rules for mags? I understand Aurora, Chicago crap but outside of that.

The LEO/MIL restricted use statement means nothing since the last ban expired. Your concern is the mag limit restrictions placed by some places like Chicago.
