The Constitution of the United Sates of America, 2nd Amendment:
“. . .the Right of the people to Keep and Bare arms shall not be infringed.” The Constitution of the State of Illinois, Section 22: “. . . the Right of the individual citizen to Keep and Bear arms shall not be infringed.” The proposed ban is not constitutional. The proposed ban is not reasonable. Drunks kill thousands of people every year. No one has tried to ban cars. Substitute ‘texters’ for ‘drunks’ and it still works. |
