Anybody else getting excited for next week? I've only been doing it 5 yrs and this is the 1st time on opening weekend. Usually go muzzleloader only. Also being taken to a "new" spot where I'll supposedly be "guaranteed" a shot at one.  Will be in Crawford County.

Duh Me Stupid Ole Me
I have generally hunted my friends spread in Missouri and the hunting has been going downhill , this year it has Bottomed Out a day and a half and not 1 deer in sight. I love using my M14 Clone. A few weeks ago a Foreman I work for told me I could hunt his Farm in Jersey County Illinois about the same difference in mileage.He has 413 acre of mostly Farmland but one outstanding deer population. So Next year I will break out the Slug Gun As I kick myself in the Butt for wasting the $ on an out of state tag |
