Can you educate me on Illinois (not Chicago) gun and magazine restrictions, please?

Chicago and several other cities up north have many gun laws that the rest of us don't. We cannot own any NFA firearms except AOWs downstate. We do not have magazine restrictions. We can own AR 15 s with 30 round magazines.
We do not concealed carry yet. We have laws under the conservation code which are more restrictive than the Illinois Compiled Statues.
