I have a few dollars burning a hole in my pocket.  Anyone know of any shops in the Northern Half of Ithe state that actually STOCK a decent selection of AR parts and accessories.  It seems like everyone claims to carry them and then just orders it from the same places I could.  I want to get my hands on some equipment tomorrow.

If you're up for a field trip, Rguns in Carpentersville may have most of what you need.  Closer to your neck of the woods, the best hope might be Megasports in Plainfield, although they can be a little pricey.  It might be worth a call to Pelcher's in Lansing too, although it's been a loooong time since I've been in that store.

If you go to Rguns GAT Guns is 10 minutes away.
The prices can be high, but they have uppers, lowers and other parts.

+1 on Megasports.  They are the only shop in that area that I have experience with, but they have always treated me right, and even right after the election they still had a huge selection of ARs (hell, they even had a whole bunch of AUG clones).

Megasports had some LMT defenders and an LMT lower last week.  Also had a shit ton of RRA and S&W AR's, and some RRA lowers.  Don't buy the LMT lower, that one is for me.

What was the price on the lowers?
