[ARCHIVED THREAD] - FOID question

I’m moving to Illinois tomorrow and bringing a few firearms with me. I’ve already got my FOID card application filled out other than my drivers license number and I wanted to know can I get in trouble if I have guns at my house or in my vehicle or if I shoot on private property before I get my FOID card even though I just moved here but now have a Illinois drivers license?

I checked on the ISP website but there’s no answer for this question and I’m not sure who I should call.

I believe you have so many days to apply.Which you've done. 30-90 not sure. I think your fine.

Thanks, its getting mailed off Monday after I get my new Drivers License
