Does anyone in the Springfield IL. area know of a Armor that was in the National Guard

by the name of Bob Stotler ( Or maybe Stodtler ). I have a M1A he built from the

receiver to a very fine finished M1A. The M1a is a pre 89 with a NM Op. Rod,NM Front

and Rear sights. The rear sight is the pip hole type. It also has a Winchester NM

Barrel. and a SA US2 Bolt. The rifle has been glassed to the action. It also has a

Bayonet Lug on it. If anyone knows of this man or any info. about his builds please

I do not know him but if you are looking for a stellar M14 smith, I'd suggest John Tanks at Tanks Rifle Shop. Building M14's is truely an art, much more of an art than science. Sounds like you have a sweet rifle.

Bob retired from the National Guard a few years back and moved to Colorado or Wyoming. Or some place out west?

He was a member of my gun club. I will try to see if anyone has contact info for him.
