So who here has one? And what do I need to know before getting one?

I have been looking at the cheap ones for around $250. Are they any
good or would it be better to pay more money for something better.

I have a Colt navy (I think). The wife bought it for me.

Excellent new year's eve & 7/4 celebration tool.

I have Remington 1858 Pietta, I converted to 45 colt. It's kinda fun. One of these days I'll buy another cylindar for it in 45 acp.

The Gun + the conversion = about the same as a used Ruger Vaquero.

I have one that I'm happy to part with - not sure the caliber and I don't think it's ever been fired. IM me if you're interested and I'll take it out and figure out all the details.
