Is it worth a 45-55 minute drive?? Looking for Garand parts and a AR15 upper |
Its a decent show. RBPrecision will be there per his last post having missed the show last time due to weather. He's a RRA dealer and has good prices. Not sure about Garand parts as I haven't looked for any. I have seen Garand rifles there. Maybe someone else can chime in about that.

| Yeah, I picked up a Superior lower from RB. I saw a few good deals, a lot of milsurp rifles, some weren't priced too bad, but I have a C&R so I would just buy direct and save some money. I also saw an Imbel Gear Logo FAL receiver for $350. Came very close to buying it, but I came for an AR lower and it wasn't in the budget. The show wasn't bad, considering IL's laws and the crap you have to go through to actually buy a gun at a gun show. |

Lot's of quality Kroil from the Mosher Gunshop, as usual. They have Aussie 7.62x51 for them that don't ( too rich for me). The Gunzilla (Multi purpose cleaner /lubricant) distributor was walking around making sales. This seems like a great product. I picked up a 16 ouncer. I look forward to trying it out soon. I fingered that Imbel receiver too. It looked like it already had a barrel in it. JR |
