Concealed Carry > Illinois

well we all know Concealed Carry and IL is just a sad deal for us, but is it legal on your own property. It may be a dumb question but can you carry a if your on your own property or in your home? Say your carrying and working in your front yard, a cop comes by and sees your pistol, can he do anything if your on your property?

And since we cant carry firearms does anyone carry knives or anything? I carry a knife everywhere, hopefully i can get a Blackhawk Crucible soon. I noticed in the conceiled carry pics section of this site alot of people carry flashlights and all sorts of thing. Does anyone carry anything with them on a daily basis?

I always carry my Gerber knife in my jeans and a flashlight in my coat. Concealed is legal on your own property, but I would guess they could get you for disturbing the peace or something like that if you were printed with it in town.

Anytime I'm on my property, inside or out, I'm carrying.

And yes, you would get in trouble if a LEO or neighbor saw it and wanted to make an issue. You would be considered brandishing it, whether it was holstered or not.

Nope.. Unless you're drawing and pointing it at people, you are 100% legal to carry it on your property!

I carry a SOG mini xray vision and a surefire E2D at all times.
