They only have hours advertised through November. I would venture to guess that if the weather remains somewhat cooperative into Dec., that they MIGHT stay open, but it'd probably be a short-notice decision and you'd probably have to call ahead to verify. buffalorange.tripod.com |

They will be open as usual through November. In December it will be weekends only. After that They will have Hotline to call. If the weather is nice and there is enough interest, They will be open for the day. I was given the Hotline #, but it's MIA at the exact moment  . So I will either locate it, or I will get it from Ron again.

Wow. Ron has always been overly nice to me and my Son Timmy. He even gave Timmy a 500 round brick of old Winchester .22lr when the kid ran out. |

Kid will shoot like 1k rounds per day in his 10-22 if I let him. I don't believe in allowance, I give him food and a roof over his head, clothes, toys, etc. |
Easy now Tim, if the boy wants to shoot till the cows come home then let him!  If I meet the boy he gets a brick on me just by making my day today.  Now if I could only get my boy to sit still for one of these shots!  This is the best I can do with the Wife around:  |

CRABBY,GRUMPY, and here I though I was having one of my good days! Just wait till the next time you'll see what Crabby and Grumpy look like. By the way the hot line number for this winter is 815-830-6140, I'll watch the weather and if we are going to have a nice enough day on the weekend I'll put it on the voice message. Don't worry man, I just had to make sure the kid was not deprived. If my dad had taken me shooting when I was a youngster, maybe I wouldn't think that copious amounts of ammo were an entitlement.

Don't worry Ron, Timmy and I aren't afraid of cold weather. We'll be down there a couple times this winter if the range is open. I hope we do a winter shoot like we did last winter. It was cold, but sure was fun.

Nah, he doesn't feel like ammo is an entitlement, he's a good kid but he loves to shoot man, kid will shoot all day and then get home and shoot his pellet rifle some more. Kid wears me out. He's a good kid, I'm lucky to have him.
