I would like to bring my son to do some shooting. He doesn't have an F.O.I.D card yet. Would he still be allowed to shoot. Please advise. Thanks in advance.

Yes he would.  Buffalo doesn't require a FOID card to shoot there.

Have a good time

Are there any days that are busier than others at Buffalo?  I mean, I am sure that weekends are madhouses, but how about during the week??  I just don't want lots of people seeing how bad a shot I am.

I'm interested in an answer to this as well.

What are the other range rules there?

They are closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

In the pit, nobody can tell how good/bad a shot anyone is. Especially if there's lots of people there. It's kind of like pissing in the ocean. You can't miss.

A list of the Range Rules are on the web site, posted on the Range Shack counter and on most of the benches at the Range. If there is any doubt always ask the Rnage officer on duty.

Per the website...

"SHOTGUN RANGE RULES
You may not use rounds containing shot greater
than #6 size. "

does this apply in the plinking range too or can we shoot any load we want in the plinking range?

IIRC, no limitations on what you can shoot at the plinking range. Even 50 BMG's are out there occasionally

This is bad, I am quoting and replying to myself.....

But anyway....

I went to Buffalo yesterday and there were not many people at the 50/75/100 yard range.  Nobody laughed at me either, and they were all friendly.

I would still venture a guess that weekdays are way less crowded than weekends.  For the immediate future I plan on sticking to weekdays, I am lucky with my work schedule that weekends or weekdays are not an issue.

Are you allowed to throw inkjet printers into the pit?  We have three of them in my house that are absolute garbage.  I'm so frustrated with all of them that I just want to put them outside and shoot the hell out of them.  It seems like no one can make a decent printer these days.
