And I really liked it...

Balanced really well, except they want 2079 for it.  Apparantly someone ordered it, and can't foot the bill, so now they have one for sale.

Rear iron sight SUCKS royally, but is functional.  As I noted before, it balances nicer than any rifle I've ever held...

So...should I put some money down on this thing?

Megasports has one too.  I didn't check the price.  They also told me they sold all 5 ps90's they had real quick.

Depends.

Do you like it more than $2000 in your bank account?

If so, buy it and come to the next ARFcom shoot

maybe 4 of us could each put in $500 for it. We could each take it for three months of the year. I got dibs on Summer.

Those asshats! I asked them about ordering and prices 2 weeks ago. All I got is a blank stare with an I-dunno. Then they proceded to tell me that they weren't available yet.

I heard FN is going to produce a 5.56 PS90.  If that's the case i'm so on it.

If you took a look at the PS90 and the feed system I would say that is HIGHLY unlikely....they would have to redeisgn just about everything and the weapon would be over 2" wide.

And FN already has a 5.56 weapon...the FS2000!

Megasports has four of them (FS2000) on display. $2049.
I almost bought it. Almost. Hell, I still might.

I'm waiting for the bugs to be worked out and for the prices to drop around $1600. PS90s can be bought for $1400-$1500, about the same price as P90s.

Give it 6 months to a year and the prices will drop as long as they don't discontinue them.

I did handle a PS90 and saw the four F2000's, and although they were "neato" I didn't really feel a need to run out and buy one.  The PS90 was compact, but a lot heavier than I expected, and the optic sight that comes with it sucked (only works in bright light).  $1600 for a gun that you will immediately spend $150 on for a rail system so you can mount a $300 optic sight just to get it functional.  Meh...

But if someone handed me one to shoot or gave one to me for free I wouldn't turn them down.
