Anybody here in Illinois have their C&R?

How long did it take you to get it approved?

I got mine approx.2 years ago and it took
6-8 weeks.

14 weeks when I applied April of last year.

Don't even bother calling the lady who supposedly can give you status, as her Voicemail is usually full and she doesn't pick up.

60 days seems to be about the average right now.

I got one like 4 years ago. If I remember right it took like 4 weeks. Renewed it after 3 years and it took like 4 weeks.... C&R's can create major problems, you can really out grow a safe in a hurry!!!! Sure is crazy how the norm becomes ordering 3 or 5 guns at a time..... Ouch!!!!

Thanks, now I'm informed to a degree.

...but being in the Land of Daley. Having a C&R license can one then own a Class III that has been determined to be listed as a C&R?

No. No class III, even if they are C&R.

I am pretty sure you do have to be 21.

I was just wondering, I am sitting on about 70 days now. I have heard that it is useless to call also, so I have not yet. I will give it a couple of more weeks, and then start trying to call I guess.
