I was there, but I didn't show up until about 3:15pm due to events beyond my control. There were all of 10 people there by then :( Tried to sight in my preban and OKO, but man was that hard with a 40-50mph wind coming staight at us on the firing line! My girlfriend was firing a my scoped ruger 10/22 and the wind was so strong her groups looked like shogtun blasts! But the pit as usual was fun. Apparently i had a smile on my face the rest of the day. Nothing liek dumping 3 mags in under a minute. Stress testing the new upper, ya know. I will say that a red dot is damn useful for that! 2 guys with a Blonde gal in a white shirt and dark sweatshirt ? If so, I was to the right of you with 3 twenty-something guys who ran thru about 1000 rounds of my ammo. We left there around 4:30pm. The wind sucked...... but at least we were out there :-) BR is open two more weekends. Closed starting May 3rd for EPA work behind the Range. CKMorley |
Well it was just me with my blonde hair and my gridlfriend with her brown hair, so I don't think that was us you saw. We were on the far left 50 meter targets at the rifle range and went over to the pit and were on the far right. Black Ford Mustang. There wwere some folks on the 100 yard line but I didn't talk to them. Were you over there? Dawg |

I was over at The Pit the who time. I can shoot standard target style over at Willow Slough, anytime so I spent the time blasting junk in the pit while the place is still open. BR isn't that far from all that bad weather that hit Utica and Peru. Hope everybody out there's ok. CKMorley |
