I know there is a requirement for a 16" barrel on a longarm, but I couldn't find anything about the minimum overall length of a longarm in Illinois (obviously a longarm has a stock).  The reason I ask is I have been considering a preban semi Uzi w/collapsible stock, but I have heard the collapsed length is under the minimum required in some states, and would require an 18" barrel (I think MI is one of the states).

Just don't want to break any laws, ya know?

No, I plan on getting a new one from Vector Arms if I get one, although I was going up to GAT Guns this weekend just to take a look at the Action Arms preban to see what an Uzi feels like with a folder stock.  Looked pretty worn and I definitely would not pay $1600 plus tax for it!

I figure if and when the ban dies I could get a folder for the Vector.
