The Daley Gun Grabbing Dealer Licensing bill (HB 2532) went up before a vote of the full House and only got 48 votes - which is not enough to pass. The sponsor asked that consideration of the bill be extended until May 2nd. If passed, the bill would have, among other things, resulted in all your guns being registered on a database freely accessible to anyone who works for the government or anyone who can hack government computers. More later on other bills of interest. Keep up the calls to the reps and senators - tell them you do not support gun control. You DO make a difference. |
